The Ratchet Mixed Doubles Tournament is a high-energy, inclusive bowling event featuring teams of two—one man and one woman per team—in a spirited 4-game format. Held at Lucky Strike North Brunswick, NJ, the tournament blends friendly competition with a fun but somewhat challenging oil pattern that keeps bowlers on their toes.

What truly makes this event stand out is its signature twist: the Ratchet Door Contest, a style competition that adds flair and personality to the lanes. Participants are encouraged to embrace the event theme through their outfits—women sporting sexy bowling attire and men rocking grey sweatpants or ratchet-style clothing. This unique vibe creates a party-like atmosphere where style meets skill.

Format & Competition

• Teams consist of one man and one woman each.
• Standard doubles bowling format (handicap) 
• Each team competes for high series and side pot action as usual.

The Ratchet Door Contest

• To qualify, participants must purchase at least one clothing item related to the theme (sexy bowling outfit for women, grey sweatpants/ratchet-style for men).
• We are seeking a title sponsor to provide or partner on the clothing worn by participants.
• We are seeking gold and silver sponsors to provide or partner on the items participants use. (Everyday, Adult)
• Participants who bought their outfit in the last 60 days get free entry into the style contest (does not cover tournament entry).
• Proof of purchase must be submitted by photo, text, or email before the tournament or at check-in.
• The outfit must be worn during the tournament to qualify for judging.

Judging & Prizes

• Judging happens during the event—either midway, at the end, or both—via a panel or popular vote by participants and spectators.
• Categories include:
  • Best Ratchet Female Outfit
  • Best Ratchet Male Outfit
  • Best Overall Ratchet Team Style (bonus prize for best coordinated team)

Prizes will include:

• Sponsor-funded cash rewards
• Swag bags with branded tees, hats, and accessories
