Photography Exhibit Curated by Errick “Buster” King, After Dark’s photography gallery presents a dynamic portfolio that spans his signature style of bold color, intimate portraiture, and narrative-driven imagery. Joining Buster are two Atlanta-based lensmasters whose work highlights diverse perspectives on form, identity, and self-love. Together, they invite viewers into a visual dialogue that uplifts curvy and plus-size bodies as vibrant symbols of strength and beauty. Live Art Experience Under the glow of spotlight and set to a moody, ambient soundscape, our live art segment features curvy and plus-size models who transform into living canvases. Expect an immersive performance where body paint intertwines with sculptural body tape, avant-garde cosplay, and imaginative lingerie. Each model’s unique silhouette becomes part of a larger choreographed tableau—an unabashed celebration of shape, texture, and confidence.

Errick “Buster” King
Errick King—known in the photography world as “Buster”—is a visual storyteller with six years of experience highlighting curvy and plus-sized models. Frustrated by the industry’s narrow focus on slimmer silhouettes, Buster has dedicated his career to celebrating bodies that have long been underrepresented. Through patient collaboration and genuine community engagement, he’s forged strong relationships within the plus-sized fashion scene, earning trust and delivering images that empower his subjects.
In 2024, Buster launched After Dark, a photography exhibit and live art show that is local to the DMV and touring showcase that presents his striking photographic work alongside an immersive live-art experience. Each stop features models transformed into living canvases—body-painted, body-taped, costumed, and styled in creative lingerie and special-effects makeup—inviting audiences to witness empowerment in motion. With After Dark, Buster continues to champion body positivity, inclusion, and the limitless artistry of every form.
